Charlie Frank's Sweet Potato Peach Pie was conceived in 1990 out of my desire to create Christmas gifts that year. I spent approximately 3 hours in the supermarket considering many different possibilities. In the end, I decided to do some thing with sweet potatos. The idea of my Sweet Potato Pie was born. But, I wouldn’t be satisfied with any ordinary pie. The challenge was on. After more deliberation...EUREKA! I would add peaches.
In 2004 I began to perfect my recipe and today, my Sweet Potato Peach Pie can be found throughout the Bay Area at selected local farmer’s market.
